Hunting

The AFGA is THE voice for hunters and hunting in Alberta, and has been since 1908.

The provincial executive members, zones, clubs and members have long been the contact for the provincial government for perspectives from the resident hunter. We are actively involved in the yearly regulation process, and many of the resolutions passed at the AFGA annual conference are enacted in these regulation reviews.

The AFGA has direct contact with all those in the government who regulate hunting activities, including the Ministerial level.

Watch these pages for news on hunting and hunting activities. We update this site regularly to reflect current situations.
